SUMMER PERIOD From early/mid-June 2026 until 11 October 2026 , during the summer season, Capanna Cava is open and staffed. WINTER PERIOD From 12 October 2026 until the end of May 2027 , during the autumn/winter season, Capanna Cava is closed. The winter shelter remains open and has 4–5 sleeping places. The shelter is not equipped with a toilet, shower, or food/drinks.
